Our History

Firstly, since our inception in 1969, our unwavering dedication to the community has remained steadfast. The Venice Vikings Football and Cheer Program, proudly propelled by the commitment of enthusiastic volunteers, stands as a beacon of opportunity for approximately 250-300 children every year. Furthermore, guided by our resolute mission, we aim to provide young individuals with a secure and structured platform to partake in the transformative power of team sports and engaging activities.

Our Mission

Overall our paramount mission is to provide young individuals with a secure and organized avenue to experience the rewards of team sports and activities. Given that, by active engagement, our program imparts foundational values, skills, and knowledge. These become integral aspects of their lifelong journey, all while accentuating the significance of academic achievement.

In addition, at the heart of our efforts is Pop Warner’s commitment to ignite the passion for physical fitness and sportsmanship among youth, transcending boundaries of race, creed, or nationality. The Venice Vikings Football & Cheer organization operates as a non-profit 501c3 entity, firmly grounded in our community’s welfare and development.

Age Levels

The Vikings offer 6U,8U,10U,11U,12U, and 14U football teams.

League Affiliation

Venice is a part of the Peace River Conference.  They play in Division 1.
